The Gift That Is Always Giving
Hello crafties!
I miss writing to you more than I can say. I’ve been quiet lately because I’ve been exploring and trying out some new things. Even so, I’m still creating every day, still carefully wrapping gifts with care, and most importantly, I’m still here, present and engaged.
Life happens in mysterious ways. I was fortunate enough to secure some casual work during the last festive season, which helped keep things busy. At the same time, I was also busy creating more products for my shop and various stockists. It truly was a hectic and crazy year-end for me. Amidst all that, I managed to take a holiday to visit my mom overseas. She celebrated her 94th birthday—wow, such a remarkable milestone. That was the main reason I absolutely had to be there.
Things slowed down significantly in business after that challenging period. I felt scared, and since then, every business decision I make has to be approached with careful and deliberate thought. I tried selling at a few markets. It was fun, but I didn’t make any money. The customers were tough to please. So, I spent my time working on product development instead, while applying for jobs.
Fortunately, I have been able to evolve my apron collection and table linen designs, and I also have several new concepts still in development. I am truly excited about the possibilities ahead. I hope to finish everything in the last quarter of 2025. I admit I work a lot.
The good news is that I am currently in the exciting middle stage of growing my business. I am eager to explore wholesaling opportunities and actively search for more stores interested in stocking my products. I have high hopes and great expectations for this important phase of my business journey.
It’s a shame to quit now after 5 years! I’ve been watching a great Japanese series on Netflix called “Rukioh.” I admire the main character’s determination. His family business has been going strong for 100 years.I can't match that. I admire his bravery and perseverance. If I had even half his boldness, I'd do well.
Anyway, there are quite a lot of exciting new products recently launched in the shop, so be sure to keep on visiting WTM regularly. I will continue to create more inspiring items to motivate and delight you. Please feel free to share in my enthusiasm for all the wonderful new things coming your way soon.
Stay vibrant.
❤❤❤
